Terms of Use

Effective July 25, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of meramec-precision.com. By using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

About these Terms

The website is operated by Meramec Precision LLC (“Meramec Precision,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms currently govern website access and use. The site does not yet accept completed purchases. When ecommerce checkout becomes available, sales will also be governed by the terms presented at checkout and our Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy, as applicable.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Eligibility and lawful use

You may browse the website only where doing so is lawful. To purchase products when checkout becomes available, you must be at least 18 years old, have legal capacity to enter a binding agreement, and satisfy any higher age or eligibility requirement imposed by applicable law.

You may not use the website or seek to obtain our products:

  • If you are prohibited from possessing the product or a firearm with which it is intended to be used.
  • For another person who is prohibited from purchasing or possessing it.
  • Through a false statement, false identity, straw purchase, or effort to evade a legal restriction.
  • To unlawfully manufacture, assemble, convert, modify, transfer, export, or use a firearm or other regulated item.
  • In violation of federal, state, local, or foreign law.

You are responsible for understanding and complying with the laws that apply to your location, possession, installation, and intended use. We may decline, cancel, or restrict access, inquiries, or future orders when reasonably necessary for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or business reasons.

Product information and availability

We aim to present product descriptions, specifications, compatibility information, photographs, pricing, expected-release information, and availability accurately. However, we do not warrant that website information is complete, current, or error-free. We may correct errors and change designs, materials, specifications, prices, availability, or release timing without notice.

Prototype photographs, renderings, computer-aided-design images, pre-production units, and other development materials may differ from final production products. “Coming soon,” “expected,” and similar statements are estimates, not guarantees that a product will be released on a particular date or at all.

Website content is informational and does not constitute an offer to sell. A future order will be subject to acceptance under the terms presented at checkout.

Safety, compatibility, and installation

Firearms and firearm components can cause serious injury or death if handled, installed, maintained, or used improperly. Always follow the firearm manufacturer’s instructions and the fundamental rules of firearm safety. Ensure the firearm is unloaded and ammunition is removed from the work area before inspecting or installing a product.

Compatibility information applies only to the configurations specifically identified and may be affected by manufacturing variations, modifications, wear, or other installed components. Inspect fit and function before use. Stop using a product if it does not fit correctly, becomes damaged, interferes with safe operation, or produces an abnormal condition.

Use a qualified gunsmith for installation or inspection whenever the product instructions recommend it or you are uncertain about safe fit, function, or installation. Website content is not a substitute for professional training, product instructions, or a qualified gunsmith’s judgment.

Permitted website use

We grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to access the website for lawful personal or internal business use. You may not:

  • Interfere with the website, probe its security, introduce malicious code, or attempt unauthorized access.
  • Use automated means to scrape, harvest, copy, or monitor the website except as permitted by law or our written authorization.
  • Impersonate another person, misrepresent an affiliation, or submit false or unlawful information.
  • Use website content to infringe rights, compete unfairly, or create a confusingly similar product, service, or brand.

Intellectual property

The website and its content—including names, logos, marks, product names, product designs, text, photographs, graphics, CAD-derived images, layout, and software—are owned by or licensed to Meramec Precision and are protected by intellectual-property and unfair-competition laws. Except for the limited website-use license above, no right or license is granted by implication or otherwise.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, sell, license, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from protected website content without our prior written permission, except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Feedback and product suggestions

We welcome comments and product ideas, but do not submit confidential, proprietary, or patent-sensitive information through the website unless we have first agreed in writing to receive it confidentially. Unsolicited feedback is not confidential. You grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, develop, publish, and commercialize that feedback without restriction or compensation to you. This does not transfer ownership of patents or other intellectual property you already own.

Third-party services and links

The website may link to or rely on third-party websites and services. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, products, or practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by its own terms and policies.

Export controls and sanctions

You may not access, purchase, export, reexport, transfer, divert, or use any product, technical information, or service in violation of United States export-control, sanctions, antiboycott, or customs laws, or the laws of another applicable jurisdiction. You may not transact for a prohibited destination, prohibited end use, or restricted party. International availability, if offered, may be limited and subject to screening, documentation, licensing, carrier, and importer requirements.

Website disclaimers

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE WEBSITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” MERAMEC PRECISION DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES RELATING TO THE WEBSITE, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND SECURITY.

These website disclaimers do not exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MERAMEC PRECISION AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE WEBSITE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE WEBSITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from or relating to the website or these Terms must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in St. Louis County, Missouri, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction and venue. These Terms do not require arbitration and do not waive either party’s right to participate in a class action where otherwise available.

Changes, severability, and waiver

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the effective date. Changes apply prospectively when posted unless stated otherwise. If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
